My goal is to bring Jenny to our school after training and certification and create a Therapy Dog Team. In addition, Therapy Dog Programs have been shown to increase the reading skills of children, decrease trauma after critical, decrease anxiety and other mental health related issues and much more. Through my work with students, love of animals, and research I believe that there is a direct correlation between the way we feel when a canine is around especially when we are in distress. They are wonderful and we do what we can to support them in creative and new ways. We are also a Project Based School which sets high expectations and demand on our students. We are an early college setting which incorporates college and high school curriculum stating in 9th grade. Jenny loves to be cuddled and is very responsive to her humans and their emotions so she would be perfect for our environment.

Jenny is a Springerdoodle which I and her breeder would like to retire to our school as a Therapy Dog.
